In recent years, the Western Balkan economies have made significant strides in education reform, including updating curricula, enhancing teacher training, and facilitating students’ entrance into the labour market. With a clear focus on promoting inclusivity, equity and alignment with EU standards, continued efforts are crucial for fostering strong foundational skills and competencies, which in turn will help sustain and accelerate the region’s economic growth and competitiveness.
