Energy Policy

Energy is an indispensable input for economic activity and therefore represents a key pillar of competitiveness. The Western Balkan economies can achieve substantial economic, social and environmental benefits by ensuring that their energy sectors are competitive, well-governed and sustainable. Recent shocks have also shown that their energy systems are vulnerable to various types of disruptions and stand to gain from an increased focus on resilience.
