Kosovo

Kosovo has made notable advancements across 12 of the 15 policy dimensions, with the strongest score increases in investment policy and promotion, as well as agriculture and tourism policies. While its economy outperforms the Western Balkans (WB6) average in five policy dimensions, it lags behind in eight areas, particularly in science, technology, innovation, employment, anti-corruption, and access to finance policies. Despite positioning itself as a regional leader in state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and trade policy, Kosovo still requires substantial improvement in several areas to achieve convergence, as it scores below at least four of its Western Balkan neighbours.
