Serbia has made notable progress across eight of the 15 policy dimensions since Competitiveness Outlook (CO) 2021, with the strongest score increases in the areas of agriculture, science, technology and innovation (STI), employment and tourism policies. The economy is outperforming the Western Balkans (WB6) average across 13 policy dimensions, with trade policy being the only area where it falls short, while it matches the WB6 average in energy policy.
