The framework has been revised based on evaluation results to move closer to OECD good practice.
The project selection framework takes into account affordability and budgetary coherence, transport system resilience and distributional / equity aspects when prioritising and selecting transport projects.
The methodology and process of the project selection framework are being regularly monitored, and evaluations are being conducted to inform the future development and update of the framework.
The cost-benefit assessment is used in parallel with other tools such as multi-criteria analysis.
The project selection and prioritisation process applies a cost-benefit assessment.

The project selection framework takes into account impact assessments of environmental, accessibility, connectivity, safety, economic, resilience, distributional / equity and social impacts to some degree (at least half of these impacts are assessed).
The project selection framework includes a clear methodology for decision-making, and takes key factors into account, such as physical criteria (ex. Telematics), non-physical criteria (ex. Sustainability, safety) and the priorities set by the overall transport vision (see QL 1.1).
A consistent framework for generating transport project options, selecting and prioritising them has been adopted.
The project selection framework takes into account impact assessments of all of the above criteria .
